I have a toshiba L40 running on vista. now i had loaded a tally which suddenly stopped working. I have some data from 7.2 which i had migrated to tally 9…is tht the reasn for the same? Also would tally 7.2 work on my laptop…

Some of your files are still missing.
Try creating a new company and then see in data folder which files are created. then compare these files with your recovered files and you would see which files are still missing.

With the help of data recovery software, I recovered the datas. I am using 7.2 ver. I copied all the tally data files in the folder named as 0001. But, i got the message as NO COMPANY ON DISK. company, manager, cmpsav and all other files are there. please help.
